The Barn is proud to host Antonio Lopez and celebrate the release of his new album “Turn Off the Wifi”.
Antonio Lopez is a weaver of sound, interlacing threads of folk-rock with textures beyond. As a songwriter, Lopez entwines his personal narrative with that of the greater whole. He believes the common threads that unite us are stronger than the forces dividing us. Lopez and his band serve as your guide on a joyful journey through sonic landscapes. Antonio Lopez is a Colorado native of indigenous Chicano descent. Born and raised in Alamosa, he now resides in Longmont.
The new album is named “Turn Off the WiFi” as an invitation for listeners to take some time to unplug from the internet, information overload, and the Technostress of the modern world. Doing so fosters a deeper connection with self and others while also lowering stress and improving sleep quality.
